The Launchbox Mission 1 Kit is a great way for secondary school students to be learn about Spacecraft and Space mission design, by building their own model CubeSat.

The Mission 1 kit guides students to create their own experiments in a structured manner just as in real CubeSat missions launched to space. The accompanying education package is designed with the school curriculum and teachers needs in mind, as is explained in the curriculum map.

Students will have a bright future after learning programming and data collection with the easy to use Raspberry Pi A+ and sensors.

The Mission 1 kit contains:

  • Raspberry Pi A+ board 
  • Breadboard
  • Jumper Wires
  • Resistors (200 Ohm, 4.7kOhm, 27kOhm, 47kOhm, 1MOhm)
  • Square LCD for mobile operation
  • 1 Unit CubeSat frame
  • 5 sensors, including a force sensitive resistor, reed switch, phototransistor, piezo vibration sensor, tilt-ball switch and analog light sensor.
  • Educational package for teachers and students, to facilitate learning
